Is CollectPlus web based? 
A:

CollectPlus is a hybrid application. The application runs on a computer with Windows 7 and higher. And on the Standard Edition, the database containing your data is indeed hosted on the web, which means you can run CollectPlus from any computer with an internet connection to access your data.

Q:
Do I need a server? 
A:

No. The Standard Edition includes a hosted server for your data.

Q:
How quickly can we start using the system?
A:

On the Standard Edition, your hosted database is ready for use in just a few hours.

Q:

Are updates included in the price?
A:

The Standard Edition includes updates and support as part of the rental.

The Enterprise Edition includes them while your support contract is in effect.

Q:

How often are updates provided? 
A:

New versions are built every month.

If you use the Standard Edition, you are automatically notified when an update is going to occur, and the server update occurs over the weekend. Then you can install the new version of the application on Sunday or Monday morning. The installation typically takes less than 2 minutes, the time to download the new application to your computer.

Enterprise Edition customers can download and apply the updates themselves to their own servers.

What is the Administration Console? 
A:

The Administration Console is the central location that allows the set up, customization, and control of the software. You can define users, contact plans, fees, documents, reports, security and much more. You can also download new software updates, and new versions of CollectPlus straight from the Administration Console.

Q:
Can CollectPlus fax and e-mail reports?
A:
Yes emails and faxes can be sent directly from CollectPlus.

Q:

Can I define my own letters and reports? 
A:

Yes. You have complete control when creating and designing your own letters, documents and reports.

Once created, you can use the Administration Console to add these documents as templates. These templates can then be linked to CollectPlus buttons, dropdown lists and menu items.

Can I integrate with my phone system? 
A:

CollectPlus is compatible with any SIP phone system.

Q:
Does CollectPlus have any built-in security? 
A:

Yes. When you purchase the application you are given the administrator login to the system which allows you to define the permissions each user has. To use the system, every user logs in with their own username and password, which grants them access to those areas of the system that the administrator allowed.

CollectPlus also has a comprehensive audit log that tracks all activity initiated by system users. This ensures that managers are always aware of who made what changes.
