Send letters, emails and texts in batches from the web app

Build a batch from a document set or a work queue, review it, send it with live progress, and resend only the ones that failed.

Document batches have always been part of the CollectPlus Windows application. In CollectPlus 12 they move to the web app, with more checks before anything goes out.

Build the batch

  • From a document set. Start from a set of letters and the list of debtors it goes to.
  • From a work queue. Tick the accounts in a work queue and choose "Create Document Batch".
  • Review it first. Take people out of the batch, preview anyone's documents without sending them, or send a test copy to the first five recipients.

Send it

  • Live progress. The batch is sent from the server in the background while you watch its progress. Stop it, continue it or cancel it at any time, and choose whether it stops at the first error.
  • Do-not-contact honored. Each recipient is checked for email, text, fax and mail, including co-debtors and contacts. Anyone who must not be contacted that way is skipped, with the reason.
  • Resend the failures. One button sends again only to the recipients that failed or were cancelled.
  • Printed letters as a download. Letters to print come back as a ZIP download, ready for the printer or your mail house.

After it is sent

  • Documents that must come back. Track which recipients still have to return a document, which are ready to be resent, and which have been received.
  • From the debtor's record. A document in the debtor's activity opens the batch that sent it.
  • Recurring batches. Administrators can schedule a batch to run again on its own.

Email and text batches use your agency's email server and text messaging provider. Word letters are turned into PDFs on the server with LibreOffice, so Microsoft Word is not needed there. More about communications in CollectPlus.
