In-house receivables

First-party collections software for your own past-due accounts

CollectPlus gives an in-house collections team the tools agencies use: work queues, contact plans, payment links, payment plans and a self-service portal. When an account does need an outside agency, you refer it and keep the history.

How in-house teams use it

Your departments, your accounts, one system

CollectPlus was built for agencies that collect for many creditors. An in-house team can use the same structure for the departments it collects for.

  1. Set up your departments as creditorsEach department of the company, university or hospital can be its own creditor record, with its own contact plan, work queues and reports.
  2. Bring in the past-due accountsImport a file from your accounting or billing system. You map its columns, preview the result and deal with duplicates before anything is saved. Each record keeps your own ID, such as a customer number, a patient ID or a student ID, and an import can match on it.
  3. Work the accountsEach account follows its department's contact plan, and work queues put the next account in front of each collector.
  4. Take the payment, or agree a planCustomers pay from a link, a QR code or the portal, or you set up an installment plan that collects itself.

Collect

A routine for every past-due account

  • Work queues. Accounts ranked by your rules, such as department, age or balance, and worked from top to bottom.
  • Contact plans. The letters and follow-up tasks each account should get, on the days you choose.
  • Letters, email and text. The same template goes out by mail, email or text, one at a time or in batches.
  • One timeline. Every call, message, letter and note for a customer in one place.

Get paid

Make paying the easiest next step

  • Payment links and QR codes. Each email, text and letter can open the balance, ready to pay, with no account or password.
  • Payment plans. Installment plans from your own templates, collected by link or by scheduled card and ACH batches.
  • A self-service portal. Customers see what they owe, pay, sign agreements and write to your team.
