Integrations and API

Connect CollectPlus to the systems you already use

Payment processors, text messaging, your phone system, e-signature and AI are built in. A web services API and file imports connect the rest, and new customers get those integrations free.

  • Free integrations for new customers
  • SOAP and REST web services
  • File imports

For new customers

Free integration with your third-party systems

If you want to keep the third-party integrations you have today, we build them for CollectPlus at no extra charge when you become a customer.

Not sure whether your vendor is covered? Tell us which systems you use when you book a demo.

Web services API

An API for your vendors and your own systems

  • SOAP and REST. Web services with JSON let other systems read and write CollectPlus data.
  • An API user for each vendor. Each one gets only the calls you allow.
  • Tokens that expire. API tokens expire, after 24 hours by default.

Files in and out

The files your creditors and your bank already send

  • Placement files. Upload a creditor's file, map its columns, preview the result, handle duplicates, and undo the import if the file was wrong.
  • Payment and return files. Payment files and bank return files can be imported on a schedule, with no one at a desk.
  • Bank and remittance files. NACHA files for ACH, and check files for creditor remittance.
  • Exports. Grids export to CSV, reports open as PDF or Excel, and another system can pull the rows of a work queue through the web services API.

Outbound connections

Call another system when something happens

  • Configured, not coded. CollectPlus can call a third-party API through configuration, without a code change.
  • Driven by your rules. Workflow rules and scheduled services decide when a call is made.

FAQ

Integration questions

More in the technical overview.

New customers get free integration with the third-party systems they already use. Tell us which systems those are, and we will confirm what is covered.

Yes. SOAP and REST web services let your vendors and your own systems read and write data. Each vendor gets its own API user, with only the calls you allow.

Card payments run through Authorize.Net, NMI or Clover. ACH batches go out as NACHA files you send to your bank, and staff can take a one-time ACH payment through NMI. If you use another processor, ask us.

Ask us. CollectPlus can call third-party APIs through configuration, imports and exports cover file-based vendors, and the web services API lets a vendor connect from its side.
