The easier it is to pay, the sooner people pay. CollectPlus 12 adds three new ways to reach the payment page, and none of them needs an account or a password.
Payment links by email or text
- Send it during the call or after. Send a link by email or text, or copy it, from the debtor, the account, a task or a payment in the plan.
- Always the right amount. The amount is checked again when the link is opened and when the payment is made. If the balance has changed, the link will not charge the old amount.
- Short and safe. The link is short enough for a text message and stays valid for up to 90 days.
QR codes on letters
Put a QR code on your Word letter templates, and the debtor's phone camera opens the payment page for that account. The amount is worked out when the code is scanned, so a letter that sat on the kitchen table for a week still asks for the right amount. The code stays scannable when the letter is converted to PDF.
A code for payments by phone
When a debtor would rather not read a card number over the phone, the collector reads them an 8-digit code instead. The debtor enters it on your payment page and pays there. Each code works once and expires after 10 minutes, and repeated wrong codes are locked out.
The Pay Now page
- No login. The page shows only what the debtor needs to pay, with no menus and no other account details.
- Pay what makes sense. One account, one installment of a payment plan, or every account at once, and part payments where they can be applied.
- A confirmation straight away. The page shows the amount, any fee, the last four digits of the card and the authorization code.
Payments are taken by card through the processor your agency uses. Sending links by text needs a text messaging provider. More about payments in CollectPlus.
